FINAL CONCEPT
The concept MyEyii (inspired by MyTobii) consists of a foldable arm made of different segments that can be rotated in different angles. It is connected to the wheelchair in a bar, with fixings that can be adjusted to fit the required size. On one edge the eye sensor is located; the rotational movement allows the sensor to be placed at an optimal position and adapted when required.
The arm can be folded when required by the caretakers, so that it does not interfere with daily activities. To aid in this, the arm features an illustration with instructions on how the folding can be done. This feature can also be used to change the position of the arm depending on Andrei’s preference.
To make the arm more personal, the side of it features magnets with Andrei’s art, so that both he and other people can see it. This was something he was very enthusiastic about during the codesign sessions.
